Department of Energy, ARM Program – Billings, Oklahoma

Cherokee Nation Industries, L3 Communications, Aeroment Inc. - (All Government Contractors) for the US Department of Energy's Atmospheric Radiation Measurement (ARM) Program, Southern Great Plains (SGP) User Facility. The first ARM Program and world's largest outdoor climate research facility comprising 55,000 square miles in Oklahoma and Kansas. Please see www.arm.gov.

Computer Operations Manager (7/2005 - Present)

• Daily supervision of other system administrators.

• Ensure instrument data collection and off site data transfers are accomplished.

• Manage the SGP Computer Systems trouble reporting system.

• Develop and submit weekly and monthly progress reports.

• Participate in weekly conference calls with ARM Program Personnel.

• Implemented an OpenVPN solution for secure communications between the dial-up computer systems and the main network.

• Supported the development and implement of a Cyber-Security Policy for the ARM program.

• Provide the day to day system administration for systems located in Alaska, Darwin Australia, Manus Island Paupa New Guinea, and Nauru.
